Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Terms") carefully before using any product or service provided by Neighbored LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using any of our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use our Services.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, downloading our apps, or using any of our Services, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age and that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms, as well as our Privacy Policy.

2. Description of Services

Neighbored LLC provides a suite of software applications and services, including but not limited to:

• Neighbored: A mobile and desktop application for discovering and sharing local community events within rural areas.
• Seasonal Harvest: A mobile application that helps users identify fruits and vegetables currently in season, including regional availability.
• readme-adsense: A web-based tool for generating README documentation files with integrated Google AdSense functionality.
• Line-Up: A browser-based digital card game.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any Service at any time with or without notice.

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

Some of our Services require you to create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update your information to keep it accurate.

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. We are not liable for any loss resulting from unauthorized access to your account.

3.3 Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time via the Account Deletion page or by contacting us. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. User Conduct

By using our Services, you agree not to:

• Post content that is false, misleading, defamatory, harassing, hateful, or illegal
• Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation
• Use our Services for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, other accounts, or networks
• Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or any other harmful code
• Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data from our Services without written permission
• Use our Services to send spam or unsolicited messages
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of any Service

5. User Content

5.1 Your Content

You retain ownership of any content you submit to our Services ("User Content"), such as events posted on Neighbored. By submitting User Content, you grant Neighbored LLC a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Services.

5.2 Content Standards

You are solely responsible for User Content you submit. Content must be accurate, lawful, and not violate the rights of any third party. We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms or that we deem inappropriate, at our sole discretion.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, trademarks, logos, and materials within our Services — excluding User Content — are the property of Neighbored LLC or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written consent.

7. Third-Party Services and Links

Our Services may integrate with or link to third-party services (e.g., Google Sign-In, Google AdSense, app stores). Your use of those services is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of any third-party services.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

Our Services are provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that our Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, or that any defects will be corrected.

Seasonal produce data provided in Seasonal Harvest is for general informational purposes and may vary by specific location, climate, and year. We do not guarantee the accuracy of seasonal or regional produce availability information.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Neighbored LLC and its officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, our Services — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from these Terms or your use of the Services shall not exceed the amount you paid us (if any) in the twelve months preceding the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Neighbored LLC and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Services, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms.

11. Privacy

Your use of our Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review it carefully.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Iowa, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Iowa.

13. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of our Services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in full force and effect.

15. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Neighbored LLC with respect to your use of the Services and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
